This is a mod that robou and I have tossed the idea around for awhile now. We have failed to find any Interbellium mods that have really had everything we are looking for or are complete so we have decided to make our own. The first scenario we are planning on making is 1918 right after the signing of the armistice and going to the end of the game.

This will be for doomsday and armageddon. I also have tentative plans on making sure I get my hands on HOI III when it comes out to quickly convert this to that game as well.

Since robou and I have rather limited modding skills and somewhat narrow historical focuses we are looking for all the help we can get on this one. Positions that we would like filled in order of importance are as follows: researchers, map editors, people to handle the new tech tree, nation minister and event modders.

A bit about the proposed mod. First off the mod will come in two versions, one will be super event heavy and the other will not be. The first scenario will start right after the 1918 armistice and before the Treaty of Versailles. This will allow the player to pick a historical treaty or a harsher/less harsh than historical. As the title implies the mod will do its utmost to simulate the reforms, revolutions, and recessions of the time period. Particular attention will be paid to the upheaval of Germany, the Russian and Chinese Civil wars, and the Great Depression (if it is not avoided). A host of new ministers will be planned, the number at the moment stands at 50 new German ministers.

This is a very ambitious project but I figure that if we aim this high then if we succeed we will have given an amazing mod and if we fail then we may still have a mod to cover this time period or at least to help someone else who may want to take up the mantel.

We have a forum located here.

I might be able to help you out a little about Sweden.

Although if you don't have anyone to do all those hundreds and hundreds minister/div/leader/etc-pic I'm willing to do some. I doin' the pictures for the Wars of Napoleon mod and have done almost 400 now (within 5-6 weeks).

This looks to be a cool mod. Wish you good luck. :)

Shure. Though I really haven't understood in what years it will be playable? 1918 to ..??? Don't make it to long. A good short period is better then a long and boring one, but you probably have figured that out your self.

I can get started on Sweden stuff maybe this week. Should I email it to you or do you have a forum yet for your project? How long have you gotten this far (+50 german minister yes, but what else :) )

Are you planning to use the 1914 mod as an base or will you build it from the bottom?

1918 to the end of Doomsday or arma. A long time I know but we can make it interesting.

The forum is located here

As for what we have gotten, other than the ministers we have a bunch of ideas for events but nothing actually put down. We are just starting real work on it.

This sounds very interesting...
Will be quite interesting to see how you handle Versailles (considering that it wasn't just one state that decided the harshness of the peace in OTL).
