Reg 36 TUE/THU Long Term

Since the alternative 1939 Scenario is not
ready yet we decided to start a new regular
1936 Scenario. A post with rules is coming
up soon.

Session 1.
January 1, 1936 - August 1, 1937 without a
single crash.

Participants.


Germany - Dan
Italy - Geofactor
Japan - Private Parts

UK - VonManstein
France - Mr. Sljivovic

USSR - Aggressor


We normally play on Tuesday and Thursday but
it is Thanksgiving day on Nov. 23rd. Gonna be busy.
So we decided to have an additional session on
Wednesday instead of Thursday this week and
this week only.


Hope Axis Comrade will join us next session.

Tomorrow, on november 22nd, we are going to
start at 20:00 CET because VonManstein cannot
make it earlier than that
 
Rules

And here go the rules


1. General Stuff.
a) No nation is allowed to ally with Spain till Jan. 1941.
b) Forbidden to DOW any nations before Danzig event
except the event-based aggressions.
c) No unnatural alliances, like comintern France or Allied Japan.
d) Forbidden to sell VP provinces to your allies to prevent their
annexation. This means that you are allowed to sell nonVP
provinces outside Europe and any provinces inside it.
e) No 'phoney-wars'.
f) No nuclear weapons. But nuclear reactors allowed.
g) Couping human-controlled nations is forbidden.
h) Forbidden to sell units to human-controlled nations.
i) Forbidden to cancel Land docs.
j) Strat. redeployment from frontlines forbidden.
k) Forbidden to use lag for sending multiple spies.
l) A human-controlled nation may switch to another coalition
only if it becomes a puppet of that coalition.
m) A human-controlled nation becomes a puppet only if all
VP provinces are lost.
n) Substitution is allowed but it's highly recommended
that a permanent player finds and assigns a sub for him.
o) Everything, what is not directly forbidden, is allowed.


2. Stack limits
a) Urban capitals limit - 48 land units.
b) Amphibious assault limit before June 1944 - 12 units
( including paratroopers). From June 1944 ( D-day in Normandy )
onward it is unlimited.


3. USA is allowed to join Allies/DOW when:
a) Jan. 1942
b) Immediately after Britain invaded.
c) Immediately after any invasion of a neutral American country.
d) Immediately after any 2 key Soviet cities are taken or
surrounded (Leningrad, Moscow, Stalingrad).
e) 3 months after Japan joins Axis or DOW Allies/SU.


4. USSR.
a) USSR must accept Bitter Peace if offered.
b) USSR must choose the historical option in MR pact and
honor it.
c) USSR may not cancel trade agreements with Germany if not
at war with the Axis.
d) USSR may not aggress Germany till Jan.1, 1941.
e) USSR may not aggress Japan before fall of Berlin.


5. Germany.
a) Germany must remind to save the game prior to Anschluss,
Sudetenland and Munich Events. Then Germany decides if a
rehost needed.
b) If the Czechs refuse to cede the provinces Germany may
declare war on the Czechs.
c) Germany may invite Italy to join Axis any time.


6. France
a) Human France must accept Vichy if offered.
b) France is not allowed to 'liberate' any nation till Jan.1, 1941.


7. China&Japan
a) Japan may join Axis or declare war on Allies/SU after April 30, 1941.
b) Nat. China may join Allies as soon as Japan at war with Allies or Comintern.


New rules should be discussed and adopted between sessions
not during one.


Not sure if we 'll play this till 1953. The campaign is complete
when one of the 3 coalitions is dead, either Axis or Allies or Comintern.
Then the one of still existing coalitions with more Victory points is
considered victorious

Hey Guys, I'll be there tonight, 2000cet what's that like 5 am my time. Ok I guess I get the Yankees this game, should be interesting. Funny thing is, looks like I will be invading Geo again this game. Cyall tonight. SE.
 
Thank you, Dan, that you volunteered to be Germany.
Sometimes it is very difficult to find a decent player
for Germany in Pdox' reg '36 because it is well known
that Axis are doomed in this scenario.

We were going to start the alternative 1939, where
Axis not hopeless at all, as a campaign yesterday.
But VonManstein was too reluctant to play the alternative
one. Geofactor and Dan were unsure which scenario to do
and I myslef wasn't insistent.

Also Cohen showed up and said he'd be able to find 1
more reliable player if we start reg. '36. And when we
finally switched to that Cohen left and started hosting
another game. Thus we got neither 1 more reliable player
nor Cohen himself. :)

But that's how we happened to start reg. '36 although
everybody including Dan realizes that Germany cannot
win the war in this scen
 
2nd Session

Session 2. Another smoothly going session.
August 1, 1937 - January 1, 1939 without a
single crash.

Next session on Tuesday next week.

Is everyone OK if we start at 19:00 CET
or earlier 18:00 Central European?

And next session we are going to need a
human USA
 
1,5 years without a crash :cool: How long spend in that session, 4 hours or so?
 
We still systems go for Tuesday. If we are than any chance of getting an earlier start like 1800cet or 1830cet, I think I have wednesday off of work so I should be able to play a long session. SE.
 
2000cet. What's that 5am my time. Goodness I think I need to find a game to tie me over for a few hours tonight. I'll cyall at 2000-2100 cet (hopefully 2000). SE.
 
3rd Session

Session 3.
January 1 - November 8, 1939 without a
single crash prior to the war and had 2
crashes after September 1st.
