Release Date and Screenshots Please

Why is there no place where we can see a projected release date for CK? I do not care if the release date is only an estimate and if it needs to be changed sometimes. We need some guidelines here. Why do we deserve this? Well, for being loyal customers. Loyalty deserves attention and reward.

Next, why no screenshots? Again, I do not need to see final products, but ANYTHING would make the waiting better. If ordinary persons can give a screenshot of some game that they are playing, then why can the developers not give a peek? It is not like somebody is going to go out and make an alternate game and steal the ideas of course. Again, we deserve some screenshots because we are loyal customers.

The Chinese military theorist and philosopher Sun Tzu encourages the wise leader to reward his loyal officers because an officer whose loyalty is not rewarded can be too easily turned against his leader. Lesson: reward our loyalty. We don't need very much--just a release date and some pictures.

I think I heard somewhere that the release is scheduled for sometime in May, but I may have just pulled that out of my arse.

Because the game hasn't entered beta yet, and there's no need to fabricate a release date that will unboubtedly be significantly off.

There has been one screenshot. More will undoubtedly come during beta-testing.

Well then... I need a game that takes forever to finish... to get me through the long wait... any ideas?

And no... Baldurs gate is not an option... nor is EU2...

add a few months till it makes it's way to our region. You know how it goes: Gets made in Skandinavia or Russia, then goes to the US and then takes forever to end up here....

Try Morrowind! I'm still hooked to this game and its HUGE! There is already one addon and one more coming in May! (but hopefully by then we will be playing CK! )

At the Gamespot web site the release dat is listed as May 6th. THis sounds like a very reasonable date. Much more reasonable than release dates usually are.

Thr reason we don't get screenies is: When the first screenies for HOI where released so many people complained, so sence then no more screenies till Late Beta.

I, for one, am looking foward to Freelancer, the spritual descendant of Privateer (remember that one, early 90s?). It looks like it is gonna be wicked cool and comes out March 5 in the States.

......waiting in line at Fileplanet for the demo now.......

You know that sord of sketches made on paper etc.

This way you would not tell a zip rely about game, but would give us a lot to talk about

Even the smallest thing would be great!!! if you loof at the CK - Developer Diaries you may see some small things about the game. Even some images Have you look there??

I checked Amazon Germany, and they have the German version still listed for February 26th.

It appears to me that Amazon doesn't update their schedules often.
