Here's announcing my first set of mod(s) for the game - it's my Modular Power Station project.

This aerial shot shows off just one possible configuration. I've created a set of half a dozen different power station assets, all custom modelled to create the basic components of a real-life (coal fired) power station. The lots are based on the game's stock vanilla coal powerplant, but with the stats adjusted to mirror real-life concerns as closely as I can, within the game engine. For example, the turbine and cooling towers consume water (to produce steam), and those towers are also really noise-polluting (have you ever stood next to a working cooling tower??)

Before long, I hope to create a nuclear reactor and some other assets - I really want my power station to accept coal deliveries by rail, not just by road!

If anybody else feels like contributing parts to the Modular Power Station - please do! This is just the start...
