So, how do you guys think religion and western explorers should be reflected in the game? Sengoku starts in the late 15th century but will go into the 16th century, right? That's the right time for St. Francis Xavier to show up and start trouble, I think.
How should the game reflect western influences like introduction of Christianity and gunpowder? Should lords be able to convert and ally themselves with non-playable factions like the Portuguese to gain advantages as was the case in history, and should other lords be able to squash the religion and western influences like Hideyoshi and Ieyasu did?
How about the mean Ikko-Ikkis? What kind of role should they play and what special mechanics might they get which would allow them to cause trouble too?
I love ahistorical fun, so I'd like to attempt conquering all of Japan under the banner of a Christian lord, or going on an Ikko-Ikki rampage.
