Hey all you much more advanced modders out there, I was wondering if there was a way to modify/edit out the following:

Dock/Undock from Jumpship cutscenes

Arrival/Leaving Planet (argo or leopard level)

Jumpship Jumping (arrival and departure, jumpship)

If anyone knows how to accomplish this... I would greatly appreciate a walkthru on how to do it myself.

Find myself just getting cranky waiting for the same scenes over and over and over and over and over and *takes breath*....

All I care about, is getting to the next mission AS FAST as possible. With as FEW interruptions and "ooh look at purdy" moments.

I've seen them all. for 521 hours and counting.

Please. I just.... i like the game, I wanna keep playing.

This is literally the brick wall i keep slamming into for enjoyment of this game.

Well, it CERTAINLY isn't easy to make it an on/off switch for modders... figuring out how to do it in the first place is the challenge.

For HBS, it probably would be relatively simple... but only as compared to other features they might put it. There the problem is that nothing is simple in absolute terms when it doesn't come with the disclaimer that it could break the game in horrible ways. Testing = time. And unless there is a huge outcry from the player base, it isn't at all likely that it will make it to the top of the priority queue. Sadly for the OP, it does appear that most players are OK with the cutscenes.

[Mod Edit: Bickering] that bright as the sun flash everytime the Jumpship jumps. As someone who is permanently photosensitive due to medications, it's more than trivial.
I already play with the brightness way down on my monitor, gameplay (with the handy options to stay zoomed out and not be 'forced' to look directly into all the laser light shows) is actually bearable, doesn't HURT me PHYSICALLY to watch.

Everything else I requested can be seen as a "wish list" the removal of that eye gouging flash I view as a necessity to continue playing.

Me refunding my expansion pack and season pass depend on this at this point.

It's a small ask.
