So Just wondering, is there any particular reason why Renly doesn't have the homosexual trait in the earlier scenarios but Loras Tyrell does? Or is this a bug?

It's been this way for as long as I can remember.

Besides, for Loras, was it ever mentioned that he had eyes on men other than Renly?

You say this like he ought to not have the homosexual trait... what, like it doesn't count because its Renly? lol.

Loras is so pretty he may as well be a girl? Lmao.

To be honest in the books the romance between Renly and Loras is so low key that you can almost miss it. The first time I read through the books and got to the uh bit with Margaery and she gives it "should I get my brother?" I kind of went "huh?" cos it was such a non sequitur and I am not used to reading about homosexual pairings in mainstream media.

When I read the books a second time I paid better attention and got it loud and clear, but it can be fairly easy to actually miss. At least until GRR Martin bludgeons you with it in the Renly-Margaery scene. Lol.

Having read it more clearly, I think that Loras and Renly really loved each other, so it is kinda weird that Renly doesn't get the trait (and thus no chance of engineering the relationship in game).

Renly does have the trait, he just doesn't seem to have it from birth like Loras. He gets it in 8290, but this is something I will fix.

I only mentioned it cos it's been like that since before Essos was brought in and I wasn't sure if it was on purpose for some reason.

Well, there is the trope: If It's You, It's Okay. But, Loras doesn't like girls, so yeah.
Nor did Renly, hence why he and Margery never consumated their marriage.

That scene was original to the show and never appeared in the books. There aren't any PoV characters present to witness it.

There's a pretty good summary of the clues about their relationship here:

While we're at it, can you beautify Renly a little bit? He is supposed to be handsome, but now I think he looks just a little bit weird.

He has the exact same DNA as Robert (as he's supposed to) just minus the beard.

Speaking of Renly. Every time I run a game during the Clash of King's scenario he dies within the first month or so. I've run it a few times just to see. Is there any way for that not to happen. I'd kind of like to put him on the Iron Throne. And replace Loras. For RP purposes.

In my last game Stannis bent the knee to me and he was my master-at-arms until he died in a duel against Jorah Momont. So you won't always get shadow-murdered.
