There are a bunch of flags I'd love to change in India at some point and this is one of them (other prime candidates are Bijapur, Berar, Sindh and Malwa).
There are few flags for the Delhi Sultanate around. There is another one in a period source in the form of the book of all kingdoms (and that was the one I used in my old India mod for EU3 back in the day). That one is not entirely dissimilar to this one, it's of similar design but in white and yellow.
I've never been able to figure out the origin of the current flag but on the other hand I'm not so certain either the Catalan Atlas or the Book of all Kingdoms are really that good sources either, they may be right in time but hardly in geographic origin.
Is there anything in particular to say this flag is more fitting than say the one in the book of all kingdoms?
