When you resign in EU3, you are presented with a nice long list of your rulers and their mixed accomplishments. I've always really liked this part, as it forms a sort of small scale AAR, but also felt that it could be significantly improved.
One thing is obviously the wording of the descriptions and so on, but honestly I can live with that being a little cludgy. What I would really like is for more events to be featured in the report, and there could be a better focus on world events. A simple feature - which I think would go a long way - could be to introduce a feature in certain events to have them write to this log. Might even be controlled via message settings. This way great events like plagues and meteors could get a place in history along side battles and conquests.
Other than the log, it might also be nice to supply a few choice maps and the like.
Most of the data for this is already stored as history in the save games, so it would mostly seem to be a matter of writing a better parser. And I realise this should not be a top priority, but in many ways this logs is what you have to look back on when finishing a game, and I think it deserves to be improved.
