Resolution issue

I've been playin CK2 on my current tv for years without any issue but i tryed to play today and the resolution is screwed up and it wont let me change it in game.

i did try to amend the settings.txt file with my current 1929x1080

has_set_language=yes
}
graphics=
{
size=
{
x=1920
y=1080
}

but the issue still isnt resolved as after loading for a few seconds the resolution screws up again.

Any fix for this?

Disclaimer: I'm just another forum member

I think it could be helpful for tech support if you clarify what "screws up" means.
Maybe a screenshot or something.
Seems mysterious that it suddenly doesn't work anymore, while it did so far.

..it wont let me change it in game..

You can't change the resolution as long as the Window Mode is set on Borderless.
All you have to do, is to change the mode to any other, change the resolution and then back to Borderless again.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/CK2/settings.txt
From your Documents/Paradox/CK2/logs/ folder, attach system.log .

Its fine now doing a full reinstall resolved the issue
