Hi all,

I've tried searching far and wide for someone with a similar issue, quite literally found zero results so here I am.

I am making changes to my 00_defines.txt in common/defines and no matter what I change, the game will not register the changes. I've tried making a new save, no mods etc with no luck.

As an example, if I change the following, it still remains at 50;

NCharacterOpinion = {

MOTHER = 100 (instead of 50)

Is there any reason this would be?
 
Update:

As is customary, after I posted this I tried something I didn't honestly think was the issue but resolved it instantly lol.

For anyone else who might experience this, I had a folder inside my common/defines called 'Backup Defines' - within there, my backup 00_defines. Clearly, the game was loading the data from that backup file and not the 00_defines in the correct folder.
