How would the results of crusades be handled? Historically (at least in Estonia and Livonia) the Order was backed by the Roman-Catholic church on condition that 2/3 of the conquered (converted) lands were ruled by various bishops. Granted, the agreement weren't really followed by the order (with respect to proportion that is), church was an important landowner in those areas.

So, how's land be allocated? And more importantly, how new cities will be created?

Very interesting questions especially since we don't know what "control" we will have over the Militant orders. Will you be able to influence who gets appointed as bishops in the newly won lands?

As for creation of new cities, well, they might be created through events triggered by the capture of some province(s) like the CoTs poppin up by events in EU II.:)

It sure will be interesting to see how this is handled.:)

Also, depending on your control of the region, what policies concerning migration will you be able to exert there, and what effect will crusading have n your control of the homelands?

Yeah, do u think that Catholic or Orthodox would allow Nestrion to be the state religion?

So, any word on new cities? Church/order relations? Or can I send my poor bastard son to carve a kingdom for himself?

Questions.......

Yeah, I want to have my bastard son to carve himself a kingdom long as he doesn't carve my own kingdom!

I recommend that over time, Knight of Templar should have lower relation with all of countries over the time like historical (For money)

Well I wonder what's in store for the results in the game. Historically their were very many. Actually the advancement of Europe and European civilization evolved from these outcomes. Arts, artifects, languages, customs, war techniques, technology, trade routes, trading knowledge, and many other innovations were sort of "bowered" by the Europeans as they entered these conquered lands. A prime example is the Reconquista in Iberia, and another is the trade growth of Genoa and Venetia due to trade routes in the ME. Interesting to see the outcomes indeed.;)

Maybe, if you have a trader in ME or control some of those terrorities, you gain an bonus in tech development. Also, just ny having an army of your arriving in ME and fought that stimulate the tech development or open up the new branch of tech tree dued to the ideas the Crusaders got by being there and bring those ideas back to home.

Yes seeing that this simulated the Renisance in Europe later on, and it first happened largely in Itlay and those states who had close contacts with the Eastern trade routes such as the infamous Silk Road.;)

Yes and the Italians not only profitted from the Silk trade but also the rich spices, herbs, and china from there which were then sold all over Europe at high prices, but gave way for an ambition for new nations like Spain and Portugal to look for new ways to get it...and thus EU2 lol!:D

Lol you are very welcome my friend hoho!:D

No one's considering the effects of a successful crusades. Assuming the player (and knowing the player, this isn't too unfeasible) takes Alexandria and Mecca, what happens?

No problem! The one must be honest!

Should the items give small bonus for tech development? Like what E-M and I just talked about, that getting the exotic items make European seek it out and make them think and spread the ideas for items spread with ideas too.

Hmm...you should perhaps get an overall bonus of everything I think, as being exposed to the ME....somehow...tech improvements, trade improvements, infrastructure improvements, stability improvements, and cutural improvements should be considered I think.;)
