Resume button disappeared after I installed Win 10

After I reinstalled Windows on my computer and installed Win 10 instead Win 7, stellaris launcher misses button. It doesn't have it on both saves, local and cloud, ironman and regular. After I downloaded the last save from Win 7 it offered to download me this save. Howere, after I download again it and skip one month Resume button disappearedagain and never come back. Also, HOI4 offers to download last Win 7 save ignoring newer one.
No mods have been used.

With some games, Resume will not show Ironman games as loading them after a game update can corrupt them.

Is this happening with non-Ironman games too? Does it matter if they are local or cloud saves?

Yes, it is happening with non-Ironman games too. No, it doesn't matter. It seems launcher doesn't see saves.

If that's what you have, make sure C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2022.5.1/paradox launcher.exe is in the exceptions lists of your antivirus app.

Yes, It's 2022.5.11
I have no idea where you can set exceptions for ESET NOD32, couldn't find nowhere it in settings.
I find out that Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/continue_game.json doesn't exist. insted it have Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/continue_game.temp
I find continue_game.json in E:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Stellaris copied it in Documents, Resume button appeared suggesting to continue my last Win 7 game, I launched the game, when in game download non-ironman local save which I did yeterday, skip 1 month, save it local, exit the game, launch the game, button resume disappeared again.
I suspect what Wise Care 365 could messed up with files.

UPD. Button resume appered again with the last Win 7 save
UPD 2. Deleted continue_game.temp, left only continue_game.json, Resume button returbed, started new game, saved, Resume button disappeared insted of continue_game.json I discovered continue_game.temp

From what you say I am sure your issue is caused by your AV app preventing writes to that file.

I'm not at all familiar with it, best you seek help from ESET support on how to tell it to allow C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2022.5.1/paradox launcher.exe to read and write where it wants to.
