Retinues system for Ck2:

Retinues list for generic:

Shock have 200 heavy infantry and 50 archers

Defence have 250 pike men and 50 archers

Cavalry have 200 cavalries and 50 heavy cavalries

Skirmish have 50 heavy infantry and 200 archers

Light Skirmish have 400 light infantry and 150 archers

What about improve retinues system in Ck3? Difference between Ck2 and Ck3?

I definetly want more customization to what kind of troops i would use. All nations should start with historical troops and limitations, but if i want to take 500 years to change my nation from horse archer specialists to army of pikemen and archers, i should be able to. Doing it other way around should be harder since horses are more rare than humans and wood, and it should be especially expensive or impossible for nations with lots of people living in cities or other larger communes where you don't need or even can use horse daily.

Would also be nice if we could decide which troops and how much bonuses we give them. I am talking about bonuses that in CK2 some troops, mostly retinues, get to some stats to make them stronger than levies that would be identical. Again it should not something that can instantly be transferred from pikemen to horse archers, but something that i can do over 500 years if i want to.

Would also be really great if we could also choose what our cultural tactics are. But again it should take long time.
