I was playing GC as England and was attacking france and got beaten by lowmorale and reatreted wierdly for Sjealland and not for Holtstien wich i owned.
So i thougt i would send my navy there to fend of any enemy ships and then the danes came and i sunk em all but then i saw that they never arrived at sjealland

they've been retreating for six months now

it happens to me every time when armies begin to retreat when it's possible (ships at sea or not blockaded strait) but movement is frozen when it becomes impossible (no more ships at sea or blockaded strait). BTW, in this case, armies suffer from attrition (movement attrition in particular, I suppose).

You just have to save and reload and the army movement ability will be (re)checked. And yes, it can be annoying...
