Just picked this game up again and I have a few questions:

1) Playing as Polotsk, I'm very close to becoming King of Lithuania. However, my current inheritance law is Salic Gavelkind and my ruler has somewhere around 8 sons. When he dies does my demesne simply break apart into lots of tiny pieces? (if so reforms are needed immediately)

2) Conquering Lithiania means I have a lot of Pagan territories. What is the best way to convert a province? Keep in mind any catholic-only events will not apply.

3) Is there a list somewhere of how all of the various traits interact with each other? I'd like to know which ones to avoid when trying to fill my court positions.

1. Yes, your realm will be divided amongst your sons

2. One of the ways is to make sure that the nobles have less then 5% power, they at some point will then revolt and then you can get an event to convert the province by 'the sword'.

3. See the FAQ

For #2 I usually let them be...if i own a pagan province eventually the religious tensions event will fire and if i got at least 50% chance for conversion ill do it ( the revolt will go away soon enough )...if i have pagan vassals they usually convert on their own after a while

#2: The 'convert by the sword' event does not guarantee conversion though. But if the Nobles revolt, there is a 75% chance of conversion. It is less if the other classes revolt.

If you want a peaceful conversion, then increase church power in the province and build churches and other religious buildings. It also helps to have a competent and Zealous diocese bishop.

Thanks! Another question: what effect does stability have in CK?

It affects MTTH on certain events and I get the feeling affects how quickly your vassals declare independence, sometimes without telling you first. One of my pet peeves. In my last game, I had -3 stability (from three events that fired within six weeks of each other :() and once the war was over my vassals outside of my primary title kingdom felt it was okay to wander off.
