As Austria, a Franco-Russo-Polish alliance declared war on me (France making the actual declaration). I rushed a task force into Poland and seized two provinces with minimal fortresses. Poland offers to surrender and give me one of them and I say yes. My thinking was that once Poland had a separate peace, Russia would not be allowed to walk through Poland and would be completely denied access to me.
However, the next thing I knew, Russian hordes were marching through Poland en route to points west - they didn't even stop to besiege anything in Poland, they made a beeline for Vienna. What was up with that? I could have sworn that I'd been shut out of allied territory when my allies signed a separate peace with my enemies...
