I was talking to my friend and suddenly realized that the current Rogue Servitor can purify their Trophy. After I turned off all mods and tested it, I found that this is true.
I looked through the logs I could find and didn't see any statement about this. Does anyone know which version this change happened in? Is it a bug or a clearly documented change?

I don't really have a problem with the option existing, now that trash pops are a design choice.

Yeah, the one species it should definitely be restricted for is the original bio-trophy species, the one they were programmed to serve.

For others, I think it would make sense to not necessarily have to keep them.

I don't disagree at all. I thought it was intended (if a little unexpected) behaviour.

But if the game director says "File a bug report", I'm jolly well going to file a bug report :)

I just want to have only cute bio-trophies, and I can't get enough gene-modding as servitors to change bio-trophies' portraits or remove their negative traits ):

Why is it a bug? What if the rogue servitor serves only humans and not any of the reprehensive, nauseating, despicable , contemptuous xenos?

If I understand correctly, right now it allows you to purge humans, too.

I always like to put traditional, docile, and a pop growth trait on my bio-trophies to maximize unity output and pop growth, and minimize empire size. I also like to put the decadent trait on them, it feels very thematically appropriate; after being pampered for so long, these pops really don't like to be forced to work.

But then with pops like those, every other species template feels suboptimal, so I just put population controls on everything else.
