I was looking at the steam page of the new ARA game and it has a bit of everything, city building, production, boundaries, 4x. So I thought this could be a great direction for a potential Rome 3/Ancient Civ game from Paradox. Lean more into the city sim, as this was the era of colonization, megalopolises and wonders. Of course keep all the usual Paradox stuff but have the game focus be on city and civilization building, kind of like Paradox's answer to Civ.

Thoughts?

PDX doesn't really need answer to Civ as Firaxis is doing a great job at blowing up IP with the failure which is Civ 7.

Besides, Paradox has Millennia which is pretty underrated. But I'd rather any future Rome GSG be actually focused in that era.

At the same time they want to compete with Civilization and they fail, they want to compete with The Sims and they fail (Life by You hasn't even been released, money well thrown out the window). Well on the other hand there is no money to take over Imperator, the kind of games they have mastered for years. I will never understand this company.
