Hi, although I'm not exactly new to the strategy gaming scene, I havn't played a paradox game before, and when I saw an edition of Rome (not gold) on sale at a local store for 6 bucks, I snatched it up. I installed it, and downloaded the 1.3 patch, but whenever I try to start the game, I just get this error message:

I have re-installed this several times and not once has it worked
, it has gotten quite frustrating because I've heard such good things about the series. I hope you can help me, for I am quite stumped as to what to do
