running problems

hi
i just installed this game on a new computer, windows 98, amd processor, 128 mb ram and microsoft synthesizer, but i can't play because abnormal programm termination(runtime error)
in AMME\paradox entertainment\europ universalis\europa.exe
or in a dirfferent way critical error at E:\avi\paradox.avi
exeptional error 03h in modul Kernel.32.dll
what to do?

kernel32.dll errors are often the symptoms of a trojan horse. If you have a good Antivirus (I recomment Norton personally), scan for virus, you might find one.

I also recommend a little freeware app Ad-Aware (www.lavasoft.de) that will search for spywares (stuff that monitor your browsing activities on the internet) in my case, it solve many kernel32.dll problems (same as you, but I didn't have EU at the time). Be aware that removing spywares on your hard drive might cause some shareware applications you installed to stop working since they rely on this.
