EU3 unusual crash runtime routine, I have Dix 9c

I have today 7th Aug 2008 purchased online EU3 +Nap ext+In NOm ext + EU Rome, paid 87 euros, nothing damn works. I expect when paying that a game works! I have downloaded DirX 9c it still does not work. All of them. All games have been registered, they all have their updates and I am still getting this error whenever I run either of them.

I want some response from the tech support instead of having to go through a forum and waste my time trying to find an answer.

I have windows vista ultimate.

I've split you into your own thread here. Have you applied the 1.3 patch for Rome? If not please try that.

Please run DXDIAG, Save All Info, and post dxdiag.txt here (from the top down to include Sound Devices only, so it will fit). Also please post Rome/settings.txt and Rome/logs/system.log - if you installed in the suggested directory Vista it will have redirected these files off to a user directory, you may have to search the hard disk for the ones actually in use. Thanks.
