There is a general discussions tread for this, but, as germany, you have to control Moscow, Leningrad and Warsaw AFAIK.

EDIT: Sorry, to make the defeat event(non-revolution) fire, russia must not controll the following provinces:
Warsaw
St Petersburg
Kiev
Moscow
Tsaritsyn (Stalingrad)
Odessa
Grozhny
Ryazan

it would be cool if you could change province names, since Stalingrad during WWI was volgograd and so on and so forth

It was called Tsaritsyn during the First World War. And yes, we have changed some of the province names. :)

However if you mean on the map, well that is impossible for us to do. Even Paradox doesn't do map changes because the fixes would require over a 100MB download. All we can do is change the name of the city in the province when you click on it.

How do I get the ruskies to have that revolution?

How about removing the # in front of db/events/revolutions and manually give them twenty in dissent?

Actually, the revolution events aren't associated with the Russian revolution, however strange that seems. The events in the 'revolution' file leave open the possibility that a Bolshevik, or militarist revolution happens in France, Britain, Germany, Italy or Turkey. I hashed them out because they seemed to fire far too often and I never got round to looking at them.

If you study events 48100 and 48105, then you'll see the trigger conditions for revolution in Russia.
