Summary
Russian units change their sprites into Generic Eastern ones after completing the mission "Protect the South Slavs"Description
Previously, while playing on 1.35.6 version of the game, after completing Russian mission "Protect the South Slavs" and creating "Slavic" culture group, I've noticed that sprites of my units have changed from Muscovite/Russian into Generic Eastern ones for some reason. Also, I had Bulgaria as my junior PU partner and fed Serbian provinces to it. After completing the mentioned mission I've noticed that cores of Serbia (which long has not existed) have faded away from it's respective provinces, so the same issue must apply to the other west, east or southslavic countries that were previously annexed or didn't exist on the map, but had their cores on respective provinces.
I played before "King of Kings" came out, and didn't bought it yet, so my save was corrupted by the free update - so I wouldn't be able to provide it or any screenshots, I am afraid. And I am not sure if issue persists in 1.36.0 or higher, but could you please check it out?
Steps to reproduce
Form Russia as Muscovy and advance in the missions all the way to "Protect the South Slavs", complete it and watch your unit sprites change. Also pay attention to the cores of countries that belong to either West, East or South Slavic culture groups (the primary ones for respective culture), but not present on the map, and watch if they start fading over time.Game Version
