Is SafeDisc used on all STrategy First games? I have already mentioned how my EU II wont work. When I purhcased the game, EB gave me a free game and it ended up being SF's Disciples. I just installed it and it works perfectly. This is really confusing me.

This is from a reply from SF in their Forum:-

"The people with problems reading the copy protection either had other software running which did not allow full access to the CD-ROM drive or their CD-ROM drive was not performing up to standards and would have failed a test for the yellow book standard. This usually was caused by updates to the original drive firmware which might have improved the performance but caused the loss of the yellow standard compatibilty. The other source of problems have been 1st, 2nd and some 3rd generation DVD drive which had problems with CDs in any case and definitly did not meet the CD-ROM yellow book standard. We have a solution for the people who's system refuses to read the copy protection but the catch is the regular patches will not work for them other then to see if the new version will now work on their system."

I suggest that those of you who have problems getting past the copy protection go along to the forum and add your voice.
