I thought there was a sandbox mode in the Majesty 2 collection, but I cannot find it now that I have downloaded the game. What am I doing wrong?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
There is none. You can randomize the maps (displace the starting location of some, but not all, monster lairs) by ticking "Randomize", but that is it. That was the response from the dev to our sandbox request.
randomize is for replayability, not sandbox. You either misunderstand what the OP is asking or misquote the developer
