Not to be Grinchy but... is there anyway to zap the hats? Kind of ruins the immersion in the game when your attacking your dreaded enemy's world - and it's wearing a Santa hat.
The easiest way is just to advance your calendar on your computer. There is another way involving deleting a file (or renaming it), if you want that method, let me know and I'll PM you.

I would like to now how to get rid of the hats permanently, its way efter christmas and im still having them on my planets and its simply anoying.
