Save game problems

First off, I love Crusader Kings. To such an extent I am paying $15 a month of MMORPG's I no longer play because CK takes all my time. :rofl:

But I have a frustrating problem. April 11, 1151. Any game saved after that date has issues. I try and reload the saved game and the game "reads scenario" but goes into "not responding" mode after getting to the intializing script on the progress bar. Starting in 1066 and building The Kingdom of Aragon into just starting the final sweep to destroy Islamic Spain singlehandedly is very frustrating. This happened before and I just figured I did something wrong (which happens all to commonly) and started another one.

I would appreciate any help to stop me from acting like a 6 year old when I can't get Aragon restarted.

Oh, should read that "Read this before posting" sticky.

Game Version & Patch (incl. publisher): 1.04a

OS & build/SP: WinXP, with SP2 and all critical updates

Computer, CPU & speed: P4, 3 GHz (Alienware Area 51)

RAM: 1 GB

Free HDD space: over 60 Gig

Video (brand, model, driver, memory): Geforce FX 5600 Ultra (current driver)

Sound (brand, model, driver): SB Audigy (not updated drivers)

DirectX Version: Always check for latest from Microsoft, have no real clue what its up to

If this is repeatable, you should check with the bug forum. It may have nothing to do with you system.
They will probably want you on the latest public beta patch though to see if the problem has already been fixed.

If you do not have any luck with them, feel free to post back here and I will take a look for you.
