I recently had HOI 2-DD-A crash in the midst of saving the game. As such, when i attempt to reload the save game, my system is unable to read the file, and the program itself becomes unstable (Task manager notes the program 'is not responding').

The crash was not the result of a power outage or another program; HOI was the only program running at the time, and i have a 1000 VA UPS system.

I am running HOI2 Armageddon without mods; the only change i've made to the program is to add some music files to the playlist.

Is there any way to repair the savegame file? As things stand, i game i've spent several weeks playing (1936-1944) that is now unplayable.

Thanks for any help.
