Savegames don't load in patch 1.01

I can't start saved games, too. Since patch 1.01 it's not possible (for me) to start games started as 1.01. I've no problems to start new games. But everytime i save a new 1.01 match and try to re-start it, the starting screen freezes and my only help is strg+alt+entf (task manager). Version 1.01 HIDJ. I tryed to install the whole game once again to avoid this problem, but after re-installing i had the same problem again. My game version ist downloaded from gamersgate (frist time 1.00 + patch i got with mail; second time downloaded 1.01 incl. patch from gg).

We're preparing a hot-fix for this issue (it affects all languages except English and French) that should be available for DL here very soon.

There is only one way to fix already corrupted save-games - history log should be deleted (actually only some lines of it are corrupted, but unless one can recognize those it is easier to delete the whole history).

No problem. I've no problem to find the history log. So i try you way. Thanks.
 
Well, i bought the game via steam. I played this session with a friend for DAYS. Now the savegame is broken. The hint with deleting the history log does not work. This is MORE than frustrating. If they won't offer a possibility to fix old savegames i want the money back for that game. I am very, very upset. Sorry.
 
I managed to restore one of my saves (a more recent one, old one needed too much changed). I got the same message about naval_torpedoes_s, I found the line and it looked like:

naval_torpedoes_s = { 2 0 }

and changed it to:

naval_torpedoes_s = { 1 0 }

I didn't know if it should have been { 2 1 0 } or { 1 0 }, but it worked anyway. There were a lot of occurrences of it, not just one.
