Savegames don't work after US war declaration

Hi,
After the US declares war on Germany, the savegame becomes corrupt and can't be loaded anymore.

Additionally any combat of US versus Germany afterwards results in an CDT.

Verion 1.05c

CPU AMD Athlon XP 2400+, 512 mb ram, Nvidia Gforce 3 Ti 200; onboard sound (Nforce2); OS: Win XP pro SP1 with all avail. updates.

Any idea?
