Savegames of 150 MB?

I am playing the 1939 scenario with the USSR. At first savegames are +/- 6 MB, then they steadly rise to 10-15 MB. Then within a month, I saved 3 times: 25 MB - 75 MB - 153 MB. Is this normal? Because of these enormous sizes everything goes very slow as well. My PC: Athlon 1.2 GHz with 512 MB SD RAM.

Yup there is a sticky thread in the main forum that describes the work around.

This is fixed in 1.04.
