Scenario Problem

I made a somewhat modern day scenario where france, spain, russia and many others are completely united. I am playing as Brandenburg which is really meant to be Germany.

Anyway, the scenario works well and has not crashed after a year.

My problem is with italy. It seems that every nation that is catholic and the ottoman empire and a few orthodox nations have a permanent CB on them. Why is that? I dont want them getting destroyed early because of everyone declaring war on them.

Help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't know about orthodux and ottomans. but every catholic nation gets a cb against anyone holding rome who is notthe papal states

Give Italy the papal states tag and you should be okay.
