Languish Universalis IV game is soon to start. After the great success Languish III was expectations are great, so I want to ask about any good, tested MP scenario's out there. Last game we used PE 1492 - and we are probably gonna stay with a starting date, but i would like to see a tweak with an additional, common culture added to player nations.
I find Ryoken's balanced scenario quite appealing, but did anyone actually played with it? Is it balanced and much more importantly is it stable?
I will appreciate your opinions.

I've played one session in a game with Ryoken's scenario... it's stable enough... if all your players are stable, your game will be stable. I wouldn't recommend it for a game myself because most of the provinces have the exact same tax value and culture, which takes a bit of flavour out of it for me. OTOH, some people like that change because it adds a bit of 'balance', whatever balance is :)
What am I trying to say, oh yeah, it's all subjective :)

The only criticism I have of Ryo's scenario -- and I'm sure he's taking steps to address it, is that countries are paired up currently in the leader and monarch generation, at least as of EoS 1.7. This means that if a country in the pair gets eliminated, well, the other country will no longer have leaders and monarchs generated which is, not surprisingly, a problem.

I'd definitely ask him about it before I started though, he may even have a new version of it out now that fixes those issues, being the prolific little bug that he is :D.
