Screen Blinks

About every 30 seconds or so my screen blinks. Only when playing on my IBM T42 ThinkPad, not when playing at home on my desktop. Just a quick blink which is annoying. I tried using EndItAll to shutdown what I can. I just found the other thread, I have no Music Match or MM*.* running.

Any ideas?

Other suspects are virus checkers, adware bots/some comunications software like the latest version of trillian, basically anything that trys to steal focus.

Like I said I run EndItAll and close everything I can find including shutting down any network connections. This is unique to HOI, I don't experience it with any other program. Perhaps in the next patch they could have HOI2 grab the focus.

Well that is what happens, the 3rd party program steals focus and HOI2 grabs it back, thus you get a flicker on the screen.
What is left after you use EndItAll?
Can you write them down here or post a screen capture?

My screen blinks too

my screen blinks,also. it did it with hearts of iron 1 too. no other program has ever done that.
