So I just got the new Island expansion and something broke the screen detection on my computer. I have dual monitors and when I start the game in fullscreen it detects on both monitors and shows the screen twice with one side being frozen. If I try to click on the non-frozen screen the opposite screen then becomes active. It's like a weird and frustrating game of ping pong.
At one point I was controlling the left screen by mousing over the options on the right screen.

And then in windowed mode, the cursor is offset by an inch or so.

These issues are new, either from a recent update or the new additions. I've tried restarting my computer as well as updating my video card drivers but the issue continues. Has anyone else had this issue?

Specs if needed:
Processor: Ryzen 7 1700
GPU GeoForce Gtx 960

Please try this:

- uninstall PA from Steam
- unsubscribe from all mods in this game's Steam Workshop

Delete the following folders if still present:

- Steam/SteamApps/common/PA
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Introversion/Prison Architect/
(keep any valued save games, of course)
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Now install PA again and see how that goes please!

Hi There!

Gave it a try. It fixes the problem as long as I don't try to go fullscreen or readjust the size of the window. As soon as I touched the graphics setting it was back to square one! So it makes the game playable enough.

Now it's just freezing and crashing a lot, but *shrug*
