So, is there some way to increase the screen resultion in EU?

800x600 really is pretty limited, you pretty much have to run at the highest magnification all of the time because you can't read the greeked text as soon as you drop the magnification.

Pop up the diplomacy screen and you can barely see the map to make selections, very frustrating - the rest of the game is so cool :-(

Is this simply not implemented? It'd be really nice to increase it somewhat, heck even 1024x768 would help, though 1600x1200 would be perfect

Shame, that was what I was beginning to suspect. I still find it hard to beleive that people run at 800x600 on decent montirs so it never occurred to me that a normal feature like this would be missing from what it otherwise a pretty cool game.

Oh well, maybe one day.
