Not a Support question but we will let that slide. :)

Take a screen shot by pressing PrtScn button, which will copy the image to your clipboard.

The easier way is to press F11 This will put a bitmap picture in the main HOI directory. Rename this file something descriptive. Compress it to a Jpg. Upload it to somewhere you have web space, Then use the (img) command to display it in your post.

Thanks. I knew the prtscrn method, but it would store only one image. Not good, if you play for hours on end, and want to write an AAR. F11 is the solution.

The img thingie I had worked out; uploading a gif directly from my desktop to a reply is not possible?

No. For everyone to see it they would have to have access to your HDD. I am sure you wouldnt want people to be able to get to your Hard Drive :)

Therefore you have to store it on a website that you then provide the link for.

People click on the link and it uploads the Image to *their* HDD (Temporary folder) so that they may see it.

If you want to see how direct linking is done just quote this post and take a look at how I did it. Be aware that some free sites do not allow direct linking like what I did here and if you try it you might get something else display (like the OOPS graphic).
In this case just provide the link as UD suggested.

Heh; I know THAT. :D I was actually asking if there is a method to store the Gif on YOUR site (like the message itself); but never mind. It´s not a big issue. :)
lo
There is but we wont. Takes up too much space and also leaves us open to hacking :)
