ok i know how to put a picture into my post using the thing.

the problem i am having is this.

i take a screenshot, it is saved on windows as screenshot.bmp

when i try to load that file into my webpage it will not let me load a bmp file. i have to have a jpg or gif file.

my question is how do i make that bmp screenshot file into a jpg or gif file so i can load it to my page and then use it on my aar?

You need to use a graphics program like Photoshop to convert it.
There are a lot of such freeware/shareware programs available at www.tucows.com .

Windows 98 SE (possibly ME as well) allows you to use Paint to change the format (Save As, use the pull down fild type thing) of the file.

Windows 95, 98, and 2000 don't seem to allow this.

I can do it just with my Paint version. Save as .jpg from .bmp but apparently not all can do that.

i downloaded gimp and was able to change my file.bmp to a file.jpeg , the web page im using at geocities accepts the file and it loaded on the web page, now i put in the file with the img brackets, and still you can see it dont work. hmmmm sure wish i could load those shots for my aar.

ooops, i was putzing around, and trying to make this work that i forgot to post that i got it to work, forget the last post, i found a way to post screenshots, thanks to yall for advice, that is what helped me do it. now i hope it helps my aar more

But it's a same-old green Germany. Thats not cool. You should swith to a TAG with a perty color, like PRU or HAB or somesuch. HOL, maybe?
