Hi,
I got question about how exactly sectors work.
Lets assume, I got two cities:
1) City on arctic, got annexed arcadian sector, chose research upgrade
2) City on arcadian, got annexed arcadian sector, chose research upgrade
both annexed sectors are same in all aspects (forest, moutains etc) - so I annexed same sector to two different cities.
I assumed, that when I research arctic development, my city founded on arctic should get research sector lvl up. But it didnt. In fact, after I researched that and build exactly same buildings in both cities, they are completely the same. Even first city got like 1 more food icon on city center and second got one more food.
That imply that city center hex got NO EFFECT on:
1) city production (food, research, energy income)
2) sector upgrades (gained from climate techs)
Therefore you should always build city on worst possible sector, surrounded by good sectors you wanna claim? (considering city/colony center as "dead zone" with no effect)
