Is there any way to change seniors being labelled as specialists? I find this really confusing and complicated when looking at what applicants I need to find (after some head scratching) that seniors are still labelled as there specialist though they will not work in a specialist slot.

It would be great if there was some way to filter out seniors so that I can get a clean look at what specialists I am short of for which positions.

You can filter out seniors. Its done the same way you filter for everything else. Which is made blatantly obvious by the UI.

Also they have to have all the normal stats because it is possible for seniors to enter the workforce if the right condition is met.

I'm not sure I explained exactly what I meant, I don't mean filter them out from the dome - i.e. encourage them to move out. I mean don't count them in the Traits>specialisations tab.

For instance, lets say I have 2 metal extractors and I want to run 2 shifts of 4 people for each (16 geologists in total). If I look at the Traits>specialisations it may say I have 14 geologists in total so you would think, ah I need an extra 2 to fill up all the shits I require but actually this is incorrect as some of those labelled as geologists are senior and don't work so the number I need is actually higher than 2. The only way I can see to check this at the moment is to go round each dome in turn and find all the geologists and see how many of them are actually senior and not working or counting the empty metal extractor slots and hope that some of my geologists haven't decided they'd like to work in a supermarket today - that is unless I'm missing a trick...
