we are not done yet with the final sidebar buttons, it would be a shame to show the incomplete thingies... so first screens would be once we're done with it, i would imagine 1-2 weeks from now.
+ we have a small site for the game (in Russian) that is just a placeholder so far, there's an idea to post work in progress there on a weekly basis. once Dee comes over to Moscow (09/09) i would bet on the first updates, and then a regular traffic happening there until release.

I'm pretty sure an ugly brother doesn't do the trick? At least he's houseclean! and can cook with only moderate risk of food poisoning. Useful of having around in the house.
Sounds good enough for me. We certainly don't want a screen shot which says "This screen under construction".
just to give the idea, on the sidebar we have access to main menu, acess to 4 separate fullscreen modes (fam tree/char/religion/hist book) and to 5 sidebar modes + map, zoom controls and the sidebar space for all the context-based info. this makes for some interesting tweaking and shuffling around . but i think we have a final outline that J finished an hour ago. so all that's left before we show the screenies is the status bar with time/res/map modes and something else that i have surely forgotten...

Hmm - that is a lot of goodies. This game sounds so good in the description. Can hardly wait for the visual.

Actually I would´t be surprised if the first images look rather bad. The HoI images haven´t exactly been stellar.

Don't matter - gotta see what it looks like.
Besides Sergei wouldn't let us down. Things might not be final but they will let us see what is what. Surely they will be polished before release but for now anything will do.
I too would like to see some CK screen shots. The game holds a lot fo promise and being able to see it for the first time would be really great.
