help plz with setting.txt

This my sound stupid but how do i save the changes i make to setting.txt

Every time i try to save it says CAN NOT SAVE MAKE SURE PATH IS CORRECT

Make sure the file is not checed as "read only" (under properties). Also, using Vista if you installed the game in c:\programs you might need admin rights to save changes.

I made sure that it was not checked READ ONLY and i am the admin and every time i attempt to save a change it says


can not creat the C:\program files.....etc

make sure path and file name are correct.

and if i attempt to save under setting1.txt it will not let me

save it to desktop and move it to the right place by hand. it´s the easiest way to handle it.
