Several problems with the game [Epic]

I have cities skylines on Epic Games. Epic Games forum doesn't seem to work so I'll be posting here.

My first problem is quite recent:
Randomly; one day, my town just stopped collecting garbage. Just stopped. I seem to still be having garbage trucks roaming around since I see "2/10 garbage trucks in use". I have more than twice the garbage capacity needed in terms of incineration. It's not a distance problem since my trucks could get around easily before. It's not a connection problem, since my traffic is fine and everything's connected and most importantly, the problem's present everywhere in the city; every building. So much that I lost up to 10 000 citizens per day. (screenshots under)

Second problem has been for a while:
When I press settings and>exit game, I don't get to exit to the main menu: only to exit to desktop. Which is quite disturbing, as you may know. Why is that? Is it a mod? How can I fix it? (screenshots under)

In my opinion, there are two problems here: you may have a transport limit on the map, or the game simply lags too much at 240k population. Still, it works well up to 60k population

Most likely a mod for 81 tiles. I don't know any more mods that prohibit access to the main menu

I believe the Loading Screen Mod does to stop people from double loading and messing up the game.

For the lagging thoguh, i'm unsure: my city reached up to 500k working perfectly well! It only suddenly happened and I already had such big cities without such problems. Is there anyway to fix it so I can go higher in terms of population without getting these problems? Like a mod, or something?

To reduce the population, but not the size of the city, the Realistic Population mod is suitable. Through its settings, you can specify that 1 family lives in the house.

So are you positive it is a population problem? Is it frequent? Because even when losing population, even when I had <200k; my garbage trucks still weren't going...

I'm not sure, but I've already had cases when services stopped working at 150 thousand. I have a CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, RAM 16GB, GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and the game is on M2

I'll try and figure it out but do any of these mods have a reputation of causing city service problems? Is there a fix to it? It might take a while for me to find the problem so while I do, if you know anything more please tell me!

I've tried removing it... seems to work! I have never encountered any of problem with city services and 81 tiles since ive installed it though so.. what's the problem? Is there a fix/alternative mod?

As far as I know there are no other mods, only 25 tiles. Also mod is very unstable and some mods are not compatible with it. It also took a long time to make it for the latest version of the game.

Although I found another mod for 81 tiles, but it was last updated to version 1.14, DLC airports. Therefore, it probably no longer works, but you need to check

I'm absolutely sorry to disturb you again but I got it all wrong. In fact, the problem seems to come from either Life Rebalance Revisited or Improved Transport Manager... thanks a lotfor your help anyawys!

Do you have a previous save before the hard crash? It looks like you probably just hit the agent limit for vehicles. The game only supports 16k worth of vehicles on the map at once. Then it can't spawn any more, except after one goes home, it will spawn another one to take its place.

But it is possible to recover from this by just fixing the imbalances in the game. usually it's caused by too much industry and the freight system gets overloaded and collapses.

If you have a previous save to share, we can take a look at the city and maybe recover it again, so you can continue playing this city.

Looking at your first screen shot it looks like all your services and goods have stopped working. This is almost certainly due to running out of path units as once you run out no vehicles can get paths do direct them to where they need to go.

I recommend subscribing to the More Path Units mod by Algernon.
