After completing the Ship Assembly Line tech, the build times went down, but the IC cost went up. I do not remember this being the case in ARMA; is this WAD? It may be possible that the IC went up because of the brigade attachments. For example, a ship takes 60 days to build. An attachment takes 2 IC and 30 days to build, so over the entire build time of the ship, the IC cost for the brigade is 1 IC (2 IC x 30 Days = 1 IC x 60 Days). If the ship build time went to 30 days, the brigade cost would have to jump back to the 2 IC for 30 Days. Does this sound like what I saw? If yes, why don’t the ship attachment brigades get lower build times after Ship Assembly Line is researched? Brigade build-times for land units are lowered when Vehicle Assembly Line is researched.
