This issue where the ships won't acknowledge the enemy happens rarely. The only understood way to release the stasis is by retreating, or ending the battle by sending in a different fleet. Until this happens, the ships won't move at command, or attack.

Xbox - Stellaris Console Edition - Occurred prior to installing DLCs, and also after installing DLCs. I began playing Stellaris in '21-'22. Not replicable, or understood. If I remember correctly, restarting does not work. This should be checked again though. (I didn't see any other threads about this so, I apologize if I'm repeating a more developed thread. Please direct this thread if so.)

Mostly, I believe this has to do with the game-lag that comes with end-game. Something isn't processing correct at some moment. The good news is that it doesn't seem to be related to DLC content.

In my other threads I've been posting about game lag; possibilities why, and how to potentially mitigate. After upgrading to Xbox S, the clock seems to run more consistently at 1s/1s, however there is a permanent lag that can be noticed in the video. Still better than prior to console upgrade, when in late-game the fleet manager was not even able to be used.

Looking at this post again later. I can't say that is actually any kind of bug, or issue with the game because it's so infrequent.

I realized this could possibly be happening because of something reasonable. Like the communication jammer, or flight scrambler.

This isn't certain. Any further thoughts welcome.
