I don't believe it can be done, after a quick check in-game and a search through some files. You might have to purchase a mouse for your laptop - fortunately, they're usually very cheap, and I'd imagine the game would be significantly better with a mouse anyway.

This. Cheap mice are incredibly cheap. You could skip lunch one day and have the cash for a mouse.

If you have numpad I'd try numpad + and -

Otherwise I'm not sure.. Doesn't the laptop touchpad mouse have a scroll in the side?

Woot! 600's post! Yay me! (like the dummy file in mod folder :p)

+ and - just changes the speed of the game ;) And not all laptops have the scroll part on the side - I know mine doesn't. But then it's a rubbish laptop :p

Whooops! My mistake :D Should check before posting because I always use those buttons myself to change the game speed instead of clicking the arrows in the top bar. Brainfart :p

Just downloaded Rome on my laptop only to find that I have no way to zoom in and out. This is kind of disappointing since I can spread my fingers along the trackpad to zoom in and out in EU3 (or just use the in game buttons) but neither option exists for Rome. Is there anything I can do?
