I wish we had official support for a faction ranking system or leaderboard showcasing the most competitive players with the most competitive factions on multiplayer. Rewards earned from ladder games could be in the form of pantheon items, pantheon traits, avatars and more perks with community engagement. Such a system could be a new successor to Classic b.net with more customization of maps and characters...

Well since I talked about him in another thread here is my dragon that I apparently don't feed enough. He has resorted to eating plants. . .

For every available race I wanted to create a basic "prototypical" version, utilizing whatever DLC they came bundled with. This way I wouldn't have just humans and dinosaur (lizard) people running around, which I tend to lean towards. I came up with most of the names but sometimes I let the game help guide me with the presets. Race traits are all standard, but I picked the culture traits and stuff. Again, I wanted each faction to be somewhat intuitive (feudal humans, industrious Dwarves, etc), but many of them were not easy decisions.

Oddly, Cats were the hardest. Cats have a lot of folklore around them, as well as memes and iconography. Literally the last one I designed after doing actual research. I went with a dark/necromancer vibe after the Egyptians since the default cats were desert themed.

I tend to do the same as you when it comes trying to make sure I have at least one of each, infact I use the filter function to look through and check what builds I have used.

Cats though came naturally to me as someone who grew up on Toonami. So they were my first Mystic faction. I am actually in the process of updating them right now. They weren't using all the form points since costs have changed since they were made. So I used the 1 spare point to buy Mount Masters since we now have Sabertooth mounts. I figured that was the most fitting. And I updated her to being a Spellblade(fixed classes weren't a thing back when she was made). Originally she wielded two handed weapon and so was a spell slinger(the ruler is the one casting the combat spells after all) who would hammer you in melee. I also had to decide on her Ambition. Sadly I can't do flag colors the exact way I want .

this is my favourite little guy at the moment. dwarven industrialists, underground adaption, mounts, materialist aligned with revolutionary diplomat personality, just your classic dwarves not much originality in this build but it's nice to chill with the classics every now and then.

Here's my Reaver, not Athla connected but from some made up world, materialist focused economic warlord. I often regret the ascended race transformation for looking goofy, but the steel look is so cool on her. neutral aligned on the conclave-shad'rai front.

Sometimes, I just miss AoW1. Wizard-King, Demonic Warlord personality, theoretically Shad'rai but I've only used him for random maps not in the story. He's a Stormlord, like in the good old days.

Crusading Oathsworn, I've recently booted him out of the pantheon because, he angelic transformed and it looked silly, part of a triad with two other guys I've got going and use as adversaries of each other.

Really only played them to get them into the Pantheon to boost them for Ochitago to go up against.

Also these guys, been considering naming them to Archon Remnants and Archon Revanants, but I see them more as descendants of the human devotees of the Archons, who have since modelled themselves wholly after them, rather than Archons themselves, but they're just based on them from AoW3, like the above they mostly exist to be the two set to hard AI and given handicaps guys you find yourself caught between rather than to be played. Fanatic Paladins, and Undead Fallen Paladins in endless war.
