Someone has already claimed the Jarldom of the Pale, and unless I am mistaken the sign-ups for contesting Jarl/Duke titles is over, however you can play within it. So you won't be Jarl, but Count (or whatever the local variant is).

Well no then I'm not joining. Was only interested because BB pmed me that the pale was there and I was the one that created it. If I join like something else I'm just gonna give the pale player a hard time for messing up my jarldom

Well I created the back story of the Pale as well and it's entire culture.
