Let me first start off by explaining what I am trying to do --
I've started CS, went to asset editor -> new -> selected 4-lane highway

What I am going to do, or want to do rather is re-texture the highway (markings, etc) of which I already have textures ready and waiting to be applied. I am going to change the 4 lane one way into a 4-lane dual-way highway with a center two-way turning lane (common in the USA)
I know how to change all the variables for lanes, place props, etc.
What I can not figure out, is how to change the damn texture. It appears the only way to change it is by making a new mesh, of which I have no idea on how to do. I tried using Blender, but couldn't figure it out. I am good with textures though, just not meshes.
Anyway, is there ANY way to just change the texture? I mean, if not, it seems like a pretty big oversight for an asset editor to not let us just change textures.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
I mean, if someone wants to just make a mesh for me that'd also be appreciated lol...
If someone feels like it, it would be about 5-lanes wide (mesh wise)

Here is an example of what it'd look like: https://files.ontario.ca/2-30.jpg
I know it's not the best example image, but it's what came up first on Google Images :p
It's a regular ol' 4-lane with a two-way turning lane in the center

Is Easy.

3D-Programm Blender is you friend.

Create a Plane, Z-Axis 64 Units long.

A Lane is 3 Units width, so 4 lanes for driving and 1 lane for turning.

Max width is 15 Units for all lanes plus edge, for edge is 1 rest, 15+1 = 16, 16 is 2x8 grid blocks in game.

The Edge is of both side 0.5 Units width.

Unwrap you Mesh for the Textur, export uw-mesh for textur paint.

Set the Textur on suitable positions, correct uv-mesh.

See the Video-Tutorials for uw-mesh and unwrap

Thank you SO much! <3
Nobody could give me a straight answer on the Steam community lol. Now I can create a whole pack of USA roads and highways.
